Give Me an I for Igloo!

All month we've been talking about winter, snow and the arctic.  We also started Letter I as our letter.
As part of our winter, snow unit we've been learning about why snow sparkles and how it reflects the sun.
As part of letter I and snow we learned about Eskimos and Igloos.  Sugar cubes sparkle just like snow.
 Making our igloos

Even though playing in an igloo would be fun, we're so happy we don't have to live in igloos!

Friday Trip to Jungle Jims

Jungle Jims was the word of the day on the Friday Field Trip.  We enjoyed rides and slides, laughs and giggles.  Here Angela enjoys a ride on a space ship.
Around and around on the Safari ride.  Angela and Hailey enjoy riding together.
Xander and Caylee lead the pack in their Safari truck, but Hailey and Angela were close behind them.
Riding on the swing ride.  Caylee was a little worried, but once the ride started and proved to not be too scary she was fine.  The rest of the girls couldn't wait to get on the ride.
This was the favorite ride of the morning.  A kid's version of a roller coaster.  Round and round, up and down and then they stopped and went backwards!
Bumper cars were a little difficult.  No one could get their steering wheel pointed in the right direction.
The one time they were all headed away from each other.
 Xander on the swing ride.

Caylee didn't mind the space ship as long as she could hold onto the handle and NOT go up in the air.

All the girls LOVED the carousel.

Best Music Video ever!

A virtuoso

Chace has been the star of our preschool lately. He's learned to lead music, and he sure does love it. He finds his favorite book, "Pinkalicious" and sets it up and leads music while he sings. It's a must see!
